§ 16-10. Designation of through streets.

  • The traffic commission of the city may designate any highway or part thereof under the control of the city as a through way, but such designation shall become effective as to regulation of traffic at any intersection thereon only after signs have been erected at such intersection bearing the word "STOP" which signs shall be self-illuminated at night either by headlights of approaching motor vehicles or otherwise.
