§ 16-73. Penalty.

Whenever a vehicle is found parked in violation of this division, any city police officer may issue a citation for such violation, which shall provide for a fine not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) payable to the police department within seven (7) days. If any fine is not paid within seven (7) days, a penalty in an amount equal to the fine shall immediately become due and payable in addition to the original fine. Each day that such violation continues shall be considered a separate violation.
