§ 4-1. False fire alarms and unauthorized use of fire alarm telegraph system.

(a)

Every person who shall wilfully ring in a false alarm of fire on the fire alarm telegraph system, or shall give a false alarm of fire over any other means of communication in the city, or who shall ring or cause to have rung, the fire alarm telegraph without consent of the proper authorities shall be fined in accordance with section 1-11.

(b)

Any person who shall give information which leads to the arrest and conviction of any person violating this section shall be paid a reward of fifty dollars ($50.00) by the city for each person so arrested and convicted.
