§ 8-92. Exterior wood surfaces to be painted.

  • Every foundation, floor, wall, ceiling and roof shall be weathertight, watertight, and rodent proof and shall be kept in good repair. All exterior wood surfaces shall be protected from the elements and decay by paint or other protective covering or treatment. Toxic paint and materials will not be used on such exterior surfaces as are readily accessible to children.
