§ 8-192. Notice of violation; hearing; filing of petition; notice.

  • Any person aggrieved by a notice of the code enforcement officer issued in connection with any inspection, examination or survey pursuant thereto, may request, and shall be granted, a hearing on the matter before the housing code board of appeals, provided that such person shall file in the office of the housing code board of appeals a written petition requesting such a hearing and setting forth the grounds therefore within five (5) normal working days after the notice of the code enforcement office was served upon such person. Said board shall meet upon notice of the chairman following receipt of an appeal, not later than six (6) normal working days after such receipt, to hear the appeal.
