An amusement center license required by this article shall be issued by the chief
of police only in the name of the proposed operator. One (1) mechanical electronic/amusement
device may be substituted by a licensee for another similar material or device under
this license; but in the event of a sale or a transfer of the business by an operator,
a new operator's license shall be obtained by the transferee and the operator shall
notify the chief of police of such sale or transfer. In the event that, if the operator
is a corporation or an association, and, the person who is the manager of or in charge
of the amusement center shall change, the operator shall notify the chief of police
of such change who shall cause the investigation required by section 9-84 to be made with regard to the new manager or other persons in charge.
