§ 2-11. Appropriations—Tractors, mowers, maintenance and exercise equipment for parks and recreation department.

The city shall annually appropriate an amount, to be determined by the board of aldermen, to be expended by the parks and recreation department for the purchase of tractors, mowers, maintenance equipment and exercise equipment. The funds appropriated pursuant to this section shall be considered a fund for permanent improvements within the meaning of section 7.10(e) of the Charter and shall come within the provisions of said section.

The appropriated funds are to be placed in a Trust In Agency Account to be set up by the finance director. Funding to commence with fiscal year 1994—1995 and that expenditures be approved by the board of aldermen.
